Diablo IV

Diablo has always held a very special place in my heart. Many memories of my brother and I setting up a LAN in the house we lived in and played coop in the first one. We were also among the first in the area we lived in that got access to a cable modem. The first thing we downloaded? The Diablo II teaser trailer (https://youtu.be/KxnWjyvmpnI). It was a 50 meg download and it finished in about 30 seconds. We were on the bleeding edge, people!!

Hell, I even wrote a piece of music entitled, “The Wanderer” when I was first getting into synths/samplers/sound design. It was terrible.

I watched with bated breath while Blizzard teased the announcement of Diablo III over several days on their website before the big official reveal. I played through DIII multiple times on multiple consoles and tore through the Reaper of Souls expansion in one sitting.

It was so cool that Diablo II got a remaster with Diablo II: Resurrected and even cooler when I discovered that I could import my old character (I have no idea why I kept my old character for that long, but hey! Super rad!)!

It was with giddy glee that I was able to help out with Diablo IV:

Sandwiched between Abbey Road, Angel, and Warner Brothers? Heck yeah!

I did this outside of my work with Sweet Justice so many thanks go to my SJ crew for the support and deep gratitude to Kris, Seph, Eric, Christian, and Antonio at Blizzard for bringing me onboard and making me feel so welcome. I had an absolute blast.

See you all in Sanctuary. 💀
